Applications
The 2012-13 online application is now available. There is a $75.00 application fee per applicant, payable by cash or check directly to Oakwood.
All applicants must complete the online application, pay the application fee and submit the forms required for the grade for which they are applying.
Elementary School Applicants (Preschool-5th grade)
- Download the 2012-13 Admissions Procedures and review the Application Checklist and the Admissions Calendar
- Complete an Online Application
- Provide the $75 application fee to Oakwood
Middle School Applicants (6th-8th grade)
To begin the application process:
- Download the Middle School Application Packet and review the Application Checklist and the Admissions Calendar
- Complete an Online Application
- Complete these supporting documents included in the Middle School Application Packet and provide to Oakwood:
- Teacher recommendation - One completed recommendation is required. However, more than one can be submittted
- Academic Records - Oakwood will need to review report cards and standardized testing scores for the current and previous school year. Please submit photocopies of these records
- Complete an Oakwood-administered Entrance Exam. Available dates are on the Admissions Calendar
- Participate in an informal interview
- Provide the $75 application fee, payable by cash or check, to Oakwood
High School Applicants (9th-12th grade)
To begin the application process:
- Download the High School Application Packet and review the Application Checklist and the Admissions Calendar
- Complete an Online Application
- Complete these supporting documents included in the High School Application Packet and provide to Oakwood:
- Student Statement Form completed by the student
- Student Involvement Form completed by the student
- Personal Statement Form completed by the student
- Two teacher recommendations. One recommendation is needed from an English or History teacher and one recommendation is needed from at Math or Science teacher
- Request for Academic Records - Submit form to your current school. Oakwood will need to review report cards and standardized testing scores for the current and previous year
- Complete an Oakwood-administered Entrance Exam. Available dates are on the Admissions Calendar
- Participate in an informal interview
