Mrs. Alicia Sanders has an exceptional ability to engage students of all ages and skills. She has a true love for both the spoken and written word which enables her to successfully bring literature to life. Mrs. Sanders completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees in English at Stanford University and was a member of Stanford's oldest and largest student theater organization, Ram's Head Theatrical Society. Before coming to Oakwood, Mrs. Sanders worked at Children's Musical Theater in San Jose as the Artistic Manager. She has worked on virtually every facet of theater production and performance. This background makes her an ideal English and Performing Arts teacher. Mrs. Sanders' focus on building close relationships with students makes for a superior learning environment, both in and out of the classroom.
